Premium 60" Wood Handle for SWOPT Cleaning Heads - Durable & Interchangeable for Efficient Home Cleaning

Not made for heavy duty work like pushing gravel on driveways. Works but not going to let someone break it just bc they don't care if breaks.We needed something that would be easy to store for our motorhome. The SWOPT line of cleaning tools is just perfect as the pole fits in my rv closet and the various cleaning heads all fit in a basket that I tuck into the closet as well.Wood handle isn't finished & smooth, easily getting splintersThe dust pan doesn't clip to their wooden broom handle! It find this to be a major mistake. They made a modular system and skipped one of the key features of standard dust pans. They hooking system seems like fairly well built plastic and the bristles on the broom work as intended. The mop head is well built as well. Everything feels like solid construction.This set is great and works well with the companion broom! Quality is solid.The dust pan, though. this thing is MASSIVE. I've put it out to the deck with my outdoor items and am continuing to use a more reasonably sized dust pan.A while ago I had bought a SWOPT cleaning system from Target with the hollow steel handle since it was a little longer and what I though would be more durable. Well, one day I was using the stiff bristle brush attachment to get some rocks out of the bed of the truck and the thing just bent right in half. Since then I was looking for a replacement handle so my entire system wasn't junk. Target however no longer sells this brand so I thought that I was out of luck. Then I find this one and its been perfect. I think the solid wood will hold up much better to suit my needs.I needed a replacement broom for my old handle and didn't realize that Swopt products have their own unique connections.This sturdy wooden handle shows old fashioned craftsmanship and will probably outlast me.The comfort grip is a plus too.I bought this in 2019 and I am writing a review in 2021. This has lasted three years. I used to buy brooms every three to four months for my restaurant, until I ordered this. The actual broom attachment lasted for a long time too, I have only re-ordered ones. I am going to order one more just to have it ready for a backup as soon as the first one finishes it job, that might not happen for another year.I love this concept, some attachments can be a pain in the rear to take off, but the immense space savings you get when you need a broom, micro fiber mop, a 18" or 24" shop broom, etc make it entirely worth it regardless. If you live in an apartment and need to save space because you have enough stuff to fill a house, or you just want to make your place look as clean and spacious as possible, buy into this.But remember, some attachments can be very hard to take off, I tried wearing down the fitting with my angled broom by inserting and removing it 100 times (yes I counted...) and it barely made it any easier, plus I have CECS in my right forearm so that doesn't help.... Just don't fear hurting your fingers (since you won't thanks to how it is designed) and it won't be as difficult.The broom attachment and micro fiber mop are fantastic, the dust pan on the other has seems to be made of very inflexible, brittle plastic that cracks easily. I bought it for normal home use and it's immense size makes it very overkill for that task.But, you pay the same price at canadian tire for JUST the micro fiber mop so even if the dust pan shatters in pieces it's still worth the price lol.In all seriousness it seems as though I can just use cheap super glue to fix any cracks that would occur and everything will be fine.
